How much did Albeni Falls Dam cost to build?

Albeni Falls Dam is a 90-foot-high concrete gravity dam on Idaho’s Pend Oreille River, built by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers from 1951 to 1955 for flood-risk management, hydropower, navigation, recreation and fish and wildlife conservation. Its 755-foot crest joins a powerhouse and gated spillway; three Kaplan units provide 42.6 MW of capacity and generate about 200,000 MWh in an average year. USACE records an exact original construction cost of $31,949,360, while its historical overview rounds that figure to $34 million.
