How much did Garrison Dam cost to build?

The Garrison Dam is the 210 ft high rolled earth-fill embankment dam on the Missouri River in North Dakota, United States, owned by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Omaha District, built from 1947 to 1953 to control floods and creating Lake Sakakawea, whose power plant has a capacity of about 583 MW. Wikipedia says the dam project cost 300 million dollars, and InForum reported in June 2025 that the Corps will repair and improve its spillway for a further 1.8 billion dollars.
