How much did King Fahd Causeway cost to build?

The King Fahd Causeway is the 25 km road link of bridges, causeways and the Passport Island border facility of 660,000 square metres across the Gulf between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, resting on 536 concrete pylons with two roadways of 23.2 m, whose cornerstone was laid on 11 November 1982 and which was officially opened in November 1986 by King Fahd and the Emir of Bahrain. Saudipedia, the encyclopedia of the Saudi Ministry of Media, gives the total cost as SAR 3 billion and SAR 13 million, about 800 million US dollars at the pegged rate, as the Wikipedia infobox does.
