How much does New Centennial Water Source-Kaliwa Dam Project cost?

The New Centennial Water Source-Kaliwa Dam Project is the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) bulk water supply scheme on the Kaliwa River in the Philippines, a low dam with a reservoir of 57 million cubic metres and a 2,400 million-litre-a-day tunnel, built under a design-and-build contract by China Energy Engineering Corporation since 2019. GMA News reported on 1 February 2023 a cost of PHP 12.2 billion, 85 percent financed by a Chinese loan of about USD 211 million signed in 2018 and 15 percent by the MWSS, with completion then expected by 2026; Wikipedia now lists the opening as expected in 2028.
