What was the original binding construction-cost objective for Tampere Tramway section 1?

The first section of Tampere Tramway opened to passengers in August 2021, joining Pyynikintori with Hervanta and the university-hospital branch. The city-owned tramway company states that the original binding objective for tramway construction was EUR 219 million. The alliance later took on extra street, water, cable and cycling works, raising its broader target to about EUR 300 million; the original figure must not be mistaken for the final cost of that expanded package.
