How much did Zengwen Dam cost to build?

Zengwen Dam, also called Tsengwen, is an earth and rockfill dam on the Zengwen River in Dapu, Chiayi County, that forms Taiwan's largest reservoir. Main construction began on 31 October 1967, the reservoir was filled early in April 1973 and the works were completed in October 1973. The embankment is 136.5 m high above the riverbed and 440 m long along its crest, and the reservoir was designed to hold 892 million m³. It was financed with Japanese yen loans, the China–US Fund and Taiwan's grain-in-kind bonds, and supplies irrigation for the Chianan Plain, flood control, public water and a 50 MW hydropower station.
