How much did 599 Lexington Avenue cost to build?
599 Lexington Avenue is a Boston Properties office tower occupying the east side of Lexington Avenue between East 52nd and East 53rd Streets in Midtown Manhattan. The speculative development was acquired as a site and architectural-design package in 1984 and completed in 1986 without an anchor tenant. Edward Larrabee Barnes designed the 199-metre tower with geometric setbacks, an aluminum-and-glass curtain wall, a subway entrance and a tall lobby containing a major Frank Stella work.
