How much did the A1 Haddington–Dunbar Expressway cost?

The A1 is Great Britain’s 659.83-kilometre London–Edinburgh trunk route, assembled and upgraded through many separate schemes rather than one construction project. This page’s game figure is deliberately scoped to the 13.7-kilometre Haddington–Dunbar Expressway in East Lothian. Work began in June 2002, the dual carriageway opened in April 2004, and its completion made the A1 dual carriageway from Edinburgh to Dunbar. Separate Scottish and English A1 schemes are listed as distinct cost claims so their budgets are not presented as a fictional whole-route price.
