How much did A5300 Knowsley Expressway cost to build?

The A5300 Knowsley Expressway is a three-mile dual-carriageway link in Merseyside between the A562 at its southern end and the M62 at Tarbock Island, where the route continues north as the M57. Built as the M57-A562 Link Road, it opened on 15 April 1996 and provides a direct north-south connection through Knowsley. More than 24 hectares of woodland were planted along its embankments during development, creating a wildlife corridor between Halewood and Huyton.
