How much was Azerbaijan Tower expected to cost?
Azerbaijan Tower was a proposed supertall building for the Khazar Islands development south of Baku, Azerbaijan. Its proposed height was about 1,050 metres, but it was never completed and the tall-building database now lists it as cancelled. Published figures differed: a 2012 report of the developer's plans put the multi-building tower complex at US$2 billion, while a 2013 report put the tower at US$3 billion. These were proposals, not construction spending; the separate US$100 billion vision for the wider island city must not be treated as the tower's cost.
