How much did Bank of America Tower cost to build?

Bank of America Tower at One Bryant Park is a 55-story office tower developed jointly by the Durst Organization and Bank of America beside Bryant Park in Manhattan. Work began in August 2004, tenants could use the building from May 2008, and the tower is recorded as completed in 2009. The bank and developer described a $1 billion project at groundbreaking; a 2008 construction feature subsequently reported a $1.3 billion core-and-shell budget. These are dated project estimates, not an audited final cost, and the much-publicized $1.275 billion financing in 2009 was a loan rather than a construction-price claim. The building rises 365.8 metres to its spire and has approximately 195,095 square metres of tower floor area.
