How much did Baoshan–Tengchong Expressway cost to build?
The Baoshan–Tengchong Expressway links the Baolong Expressway near Baoshan with Tengchong in western Yunnan. Its mountainous 63.87 km route includes the Longjiang suspension bridge. The road sections opened in 2013, but the bridge did not open until April 2016, when the expressway became a continuous route to Tengchong. The operator's later project estimate is higher than the budget reported when construction was announced in 2007; neither figure is a verified final expenditure.
