How much did the extension of Barcelona — L5 — L5 to Vall d'Hebron cost?

Barcelona Metro Line 5 was extended about 2.5 kilometres from Horta to Vall d'Hebron, adding El Carmel, El Coll/La Teixonera and Vall d'Hebron stations and an interchange with Line 3. Construction was under way by 2002, stopped after the 2005 Carmel tunnel collapse and resumed in March 2007 under a revised design. The extension opened on 30 July 2010. In its 2017 monitoring report, Barcelona's metropolitan transport authority estimated the total cost of this completed extension at €311.4 million excluding VAT; its 2002 and 2009 transport plans had listed €119.4 million and €286.3 million respectively. A contemporary news report described a €320 million works budget, a different reported figure rather than a verified final outturn.
