How much did the extension of Beijing Changping Line South Extension (Phase 1) cost?

The Changping Line's first southern extension runs 12.6 kilometres from Xi'erqi to Jimenqiao, bringing the northern Beijing metro line to Qinghe railway station, university districts and the Line 12 interchange. Construction began in December 2016. The first section to Qinghe opened in 2021, service reached Xitucheng in 2023, and the remaining section and Jimenqiao station opened on 15 December 2024. The 2015 plan had envisaged a longer 16.6-kilometre route to the National Library; that additional southern section is a separate, still-planned phase and is not included in the opened first phase. The investment figures below are estimates or approved plans, not a published final construction account.
