How much does Brightline West cost?
Brightline West is the planned 218-mile high-speed intercity rail line between Las Vegas and Southern California, running mainly in the median of the I-15 and stopping at Victorville and Rancho Cucamonga. After a ceremonial groundbreaking in April 2024 its estimated price rose from about 12.4 billion to 21.05 billion dollars according to federal project documents cited by Casino.org, and the Nevada Independent reported in July 2026 that it still needed 15.5 billion dollars to reach its 21 billion dollar fundraising goal while it awaited a 6 billion dollar federal loan.
