How much did Britam Tower cost to build?
Britam Tower is Britam's office landmark on Hospital Road in Nairobi's Upper Hill district. Designed by GAPP Architects, the prism-shaped development combines an office tower, a six-storey entrance atrium and a separate multi-storey parkade. Its sculptural spire brings the architectural height to 200.1 metres; the wind-turbine concept for the spire was not the same as three installed operating turbines. Construction began in 2013 and Britam says the tower was completed in September 2017, although it was offered to tenants in 2018. The architect reports 31,500 square metres of lettable commercial space.
