How much does California State Route 37 cost?
California State Route 37 is the 21-mile highway along the north shore of San Pablo Bay in the northern San Francisco Bay Area, California, which floods and congests, for which a Resilient State Route 37 program led by the Sonoma County Transportation Authority, MTC and Caltrans plans eight corridor sections. The authority's June 2024 program report says the total construction cost for the 21-mile corridor was estimated to be well over 10 billion dollars in year-2022 dollars, while the Sears Point to Mare Island project alone is estimated at 500 million dollars with completion in summer 2029.
