How much did the renovation of Chicago - CTA Douglas Branch Rehab cost?

The Douglas Branch rehabilitation, the reconstruction of the Cermak (Douglas) branch of the Chicago Transit Authority's rapid transit system, rebuilt eight stations and five miles of track on the 6.6 mile elevated branch to the west of the Loop, with groundbreaking on 10 September 2001 and a celebration of completion on 8 January 2005, after which the branch became the Pink Line in 2006. Chicago 'L'.org gives the cost as the 482.6 million dollar renovation, and the CTA's July 2001 press release the 482 million dollar cost of reconstruction.
