How much does the two-phase Doha Metro cost?

The Doha Metro is the Qatar Rail metro network built in two phases, which as of December 2019 contained a 76 km network with three lines (Red, Green and Gold) and 37 stations, with a fourth line planned toward a network of 300 km. Railway Technology gives the metro rail project an estimated cost of 36 billion dollars, quotes a 1.82 billion dollar Red Line South design-build contract awarded to a QDVC-led consortium and a 3.3 billion dollar Gold Line contract awarded to an Ellaktor-led consortium, and lists phase one as May 2019 and phase two as 2026.
