How much did Garden State Parkway cost to build?

The Garden State Parkway is the toll motorway of about 172 miles (277 km) running the length of New Jersey from Cape May to the New York border, built between 1946 and 1957 by the New Jersey Highway Authority, with its first section from Route 27 to Cranford opened on 29 June 1950, and now run by the New Jersey Turnpike Authority. The Authority's history site is quoted by a search engine as saying that the original section was built between July 1952 and May 1956 at a cost of 330 million dollars; the page itself returned HTTP 403.
