Guangzhou Metro Line 12 is the east-west metro line of 37.6 km with 25 stations in Guangzhou, China, from Xunfenggang to Daxuecheng South, begun on 19 November 2018 after approval of the third urban rail construction plan on 15 March 2017, whose west and east sections (27.9 km) opened on 29 June 2025, with the middle section expected in December 2026. The National Development and Reform Commission's approval document of the third construction plan lists the investment for Line 12 as 35.12 billion yuan, with a planned construction period of 2018 to 2023.
