How much did John Hancock Tower cost to build?
The John Hancock Tower (200 Clarendon Street, now Hancock Place) is the 60-storey, 241 m glass skyscraper in Boston, Massachusetts, designed by Henry N. Cobb of I. M. Pei and Partners, begun in 1968 and dedicated on 29 September 1976 after delays from 1971, excavation damage to the neighbouring Trinity Church and the failure of its windows and wind sway that required reinforcement. Boston.com wrote in 2015, citing the Boston Globe, that the cost increased from 75 million to 175 million dollars, a figure Wikipedia calls rumored.
