How much does Kitchener Central cost?

Kitchener Central Station is the planned intermodal transit hub in downtown Kitchener, Ontario, led by the Region of Waterloo in conjunction with Metrolinx, which would replace the current train station and add the second platform that two-way, all-day GO train service on the Kitchener line needs, with construction announced to begin in 2025 and an expected completion in 2029. CTV News reported on 7 February 2023 that regional staff estimated the cost of the hub at 130 million Canadian dollars, nearly 24 million more than the earlier estimate of 106 million.
