How much does Lagos Rail Mass Transit cost?
Lagos Rail Mass Transit is the Lagos State rapid transit system whose Blue Line runs 27 km from Marina to Okokomaiko, with phase 1 operating and phase 2 still under way. TVC News reported on 21 May 2026 that the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority said the total cost of the entire 27-kilometre Blue Line project is 1.17 billion dollars and called a viral 1.2 billion dollar figure for the Marina station false and misleading.
