How much does Lima Metro Line 2 cost?

Line 2 of the Lima and Callao Metro is the underground line concessioned to the Consorcio Nuevo Metro de Lima (contract signed on 28 April 2014) that will link Ate in the east with Callao in the west, built in stages with Line 2 and the Avenida Faucett-Avenida Gambetta branch, and still under construction. The state gazette El Peruano reported on 30 September 2023 that the global progress of the project was 54.8 percent and the investment commitment amounted to USD 4,531 million excluding VAT, and in September 2026 the regulator's data show electromechanical equipment, platform doors and passenger control systems being installed.
