How much did Los Angeles — Regional Connector cost to build?

The Regional Connector is the 1.9-mile light-rail tunnel through downtown Los Angeles with three underground stations (Little Tokyo/Arts District, Historic Broadway and Grand Avenue Arts/Bunker Hill) that merges three light-rail lines into two unified routes and enables a one-seat ride from Azusa to Long Beach, opened on 16 June 2023. The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority's release, carried by Mass Transit Magazine on 23 May 2023, calls it the USD 1.8 billion Regional Connector.
