Road or highway 路 United States
How much did the first section of the Massachusetts Turnpike cost?
The Massachusetts Turnpike (Mass Pike, Interstate 90 in Massachusetts) is the 138-mile (222 km) toll highway from the New York border to Boston, whose original 123-mile Western Turnpike from West Stockbridge to Weston began construction in 1955 and opened in 1957, followed by the Boston Extension in 1965, with the Ted Williams Tunnel added in 2003. Academic Kids says the initial section opened in 1957 at a cost of USD 257 million, while the USD 130 million of the earlier snapshot was the 2014 Raytheon contract to convert the road to all-electronic tolling.
