How much did MGM Grand Las Vegas cost to build?
The MGM Grand Las Vegas is the hotel and casino resort on the southern Las Vegas Strip developed by Kirk Kerkorian through MGM Grand, Inc., on 112 acres on the site of the former Marina hotel, bought for USD 80 million in January 1990, and opened to the public on the morning of 18 December 1993 together with the MGM Grand Adventures theme park, which closed in 2000. Wikipedia says the MGM Grand and its theme park cost a total of USD 1 billion to build.
