How much did the extension of Nanjing — Line S8 — Line S8 Southern Extension cost?
The Line S8 South Extension of the Nanjing Metro is the 2.07 km fully underground extension from Daqiao station to the existing Taishan Xincun station with two underground stations (Daqiao, an interchange with the planned Line 11, and Hongyang Plaza), approved in preliminary design by the Nanjing Development and Reform Commission in 2018 and opened on 30 September 2022. The 2022 short-term bond prospectus of the owner Nanjing Metro Group lists a planned total investment of CNY 1.473 billion for it, with 2018 to 2022 as the construction period.
