How much does the 4.1-mile OC Streetcar cost?
The OC Streetcar is the modern streetcar line in Orange County, California, between the Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center and the Harbor Transit Center in Garden Grove, built by the Orange County Transportation Authority with Siemens Mobility S700 vehicles built in Sacramento. In its news release on the unveiling of the first of eight vehicles, OCTA said that the 649 million dollar project is funded with federal, state and local dollars including Measure M, and that public operations were slated to begin in spring 2026 after months of testing.
