How much did the extension of Portland Streetcar Central Loop cost?

The Portland Streetcar Central Loop (originally the Eastside Line) is a 3.3-mile eastside extension of the Portland Streetcar in Oregon with 18 new stations and seven new Oregon Iron Works vehicles, which closes the loop across the Willamette River and opened for service on 22 September 2012. Metro Magazine reported in May 2009 that the federal government awarded USD 75 million toward a total project cost of USD 127 million, whereas an FTA after-study seen only in search summaries puts the actual cost near USD 148.8 million with six extra streetcars.
