How much did the Shanghai maglev train line cost to build?

The Shanghai maglev train is a roughly 30-kilometre Transrapid magnetic-levitation line between Longyang Road station and Pudong International Airport with a top speed of about 431 km/h, built by the Transrapid International consortium (Siemens and ThyssenKrupp) with Shanghai authorities, with work starting in 2001, a first operation at the end of 2002 and full commercial operation in March 2004. Slate said in 2005 that it cost USD 1.2 billion or more to build, Maglev NET gives USD 1.58 billion and Wikipedia about USD 1.33 billion (about CNY 10 billion).
