Road or highway 路 Canada

How much did the Calgary ring road (Stoney Trail) cost to build?

Stoney Trail (Highway 201), including Tsuut'ina Trail, is a roughly 100 km freeway ring road around Calgary, Alberta, built in sections from the 1990s: the northwest from 1999 (opened 2009), the northeast and southeast as public-private partnerships (2009, 2013), and the southwest and west sections (Tsuut'ina Trail 2020, West Calgary Ring Road opened 19 December 2023). The Journal of Commerce reported in January 2024 that the West Calgary Ring Road was the last leg of a project costing more than CAD 4 billion, while Alberta Transportation put the 70 km then open at CAD 1.9 billion in 2017. The earlier answer of CAD 70 million was only the estimated cost of replacing the Bow River bridge.
