How much did the original Tullamarine Freeway in Melbourne cost when it opened in 1970?

The Tullamarine Freeway links Melbourne's CityLink and Flemington Bridge with Melbourne Airport at Tullamarine. The original 11-mile (about 17.7 km) freeway, including the Strathmore and Tullamarine By-pass Roads and a 3.5-mile southern extension built by the Melbourne and Metropolitan Board of Works, opened in early 1970 ahead of the airport's opening, at a total cost of A$14.94 million according to the Country Roads Board annual report quoted by Wikipedia. Later works include the A$150 million Tullamarine-Calder interchange rebuilt in 2006-07 and the CityLink-Tulla widening completed in 2018.
