How much funding is secured for the first phase of Turin Metro Line 2?

Turin Metro Line 2 is a planned new driverless metro line of about 27 km and 32 stations linking the north-east and south-west of Turin. The first phase runs about 9.4 km with 13 stations from Rebaudengo to Politecnico, and is funded with EUR 1.828 billion (EUR 828 million allocated in December 2019 and EUR 1 billion more in April 2022), while OTI Piemonte says another EUR 1.872 billion is still needed and the City of Turin puts the whole line at EUR 4.07 billion. The first train is expected in 2032; the project is still at the detailed-design stage.
