How much did Van Ness Bus Rapid Transit cost to build?

The Van Ness Improvement Project is San Francisco's first full-scale bus rapid transit corridor, on Van Ness Avenue from Mission Street to Lombard Street, with center-running bus-only lanes, boarding islands at nine stops in each direction, new Muni overhead wires and repaved roadway. Construction began in October 2016 and the BRT opened on 1 April 2022, about three years later than promised at the start; SFMTA reports a total project cost of USD 345.9 million including utility replacement and repaving.
