How much did Virginia State Route 895 cost to build?

Virginia State Route 895, the Pocahontas Parkway, is an 8.8-mile (14 km) tolled freeway in the Richmond, Virginia, area that includes a 4,765-foot concrete box-girder bridge with a 730 ft main span. It was built by design-build contract from October 1998, opened on 22 May 2002 and was dedicated in full on 20 September 2002 at a total cost of USD 324 million, 92% privately funded through the Pocahontas Parkway Association's bonds. Traffic fell far short of forecasts; Transurban took a 99-year lease in 2006 and the Virginia Department of Transportation took over management in 2013.
