How much did the Greenbelt segment of the Washington Metro Green Line cost to build?

The Greenbelt section of the Washington Metro Green Line runs from Fort Totten to Greenbelt in Maryland, with stations at Prince George's Plaza (now Hyattsville Crossing), College Park–University of Maryland and Greenbelt. WMATA awarded a $179.1 million construction contract for it in January 1988 and the section opened on 11 December 1993, ahead of the 1994 target. The Federal Transit Administration's capital cost database lists the whole segment at about $595.6 million.
