How much did Wuhan Greenland Center cost to build?
The Wuhan Greenland Center is a 100-story supertall office and hotel tower in the Wuchang Riverside Business District of Wuhan, developed by Greenland Group and designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture with ECADI. It was planned at 636 m to be China's tallest building but was cut to about 476 m because of airport airspace restrictions, with the structure topped out on 28 January 2019. Work started in July 2011, was halted in late 2019 over unpaid progress payments, and the tower was finished around 2022 but only began leasing in February 2025.
