How much did Akita Northern Gate Square cost to build?

Akita Northern Gate Square is a three-storey sports and community complex beside Akita Station in Japan. JR East developed the 3,545.01-square-metre building with two full basketball courts used by the Akita Northern Happinets and JR East Akita Peckers, together with offices, a nursery and food service. Construction began on 6 June 2018 and the building was completed on 17 December 2019. Its station-facing glass walls expose roof trusses made with Akita cedar, connecting the training arena visually with the surrounding public space.
