What is the approved budget of Allianz Stadion?

Allianz Stadion is SK Rapid Wien's purpose-built football ground in Hütteldorf, Vienna, constructed on the site of the demolished Gerhard Hanappi Stadium. A ceremonial groundbreaking was held on 12 February 2015, STRABAG handed over the turnkey venue on 7 July 2016 after a 17-month programme, and Rapid opened it against Chelsea on 16 July. The project had an overall budget of about €53 million, including roughly €20 million from the City of Vienna; STRABAG separately reported a €47.5 million design-and-build contract. Rapid currently lists 26,000 places for domestic matches and 24,000 all-seated places, while its 2016 handover release quoted an opening configuration of 28,600 domestic places. The single-tier UEFA Category 4 stadium was designed with enclosed corners and integrated roof lighting to reduce noise and light spill for neighbouring homes.
