How much did the original Angel Stadium cost to build?
Angel Stadium is a city-owned baseball park in Anaheim, California, and has been the Los Angeles Angels' home since 1966. Construction began on 31 August 1964, the original stadium was completed on 8 April 1966, and it opened with an exhibition game the next day. The ballpark was enclosed for the Los Angeles Rams in 1979 and then rebuilt as a baseball-only venue between October 1996 and March 1998. Its landmark A-frame scoreboard gave the venue its 'Big A' nickname, and the Angels' 2026 media guide lists a current seating capacity of 45,603.
