How much does Angra 3 Nuclear Power Plant cost?
Angra 3 is a 1,405 MW pressurized-water reactor project at Brazil's Almirante 脕lvaro Alberto nuclear complex in Itaorna, Rio de Janeiro state. Site work began in 1984, stopped in 1986, resumed with first concrete in 2010 and was suspended again in 2015. A limited restart began in 2022, but the project later returned to standby while Brazil's National Energy Policy Council considered whether to finish or abandon it.
