Energy 路 Canada

What cost did TC Energy estimate for the Coastal GasLink pipeline in 2024?

Coastal GasLink is a 670 km natural-gas pipeline from northeastern British Columbia to Kitimat. TC Energy continued to estimate its standalone construction cost at about C$14.5 billion in its 2024 third-quarter report. The pipeline serves LNG Canada, but its standalone estimate is not a cost for the LNG terminal or the combined development. The licensed photograph shows terrain seen from a project construction road, not the buried pipe.
