How much did Equinor and Masdar invest to realise Hywind Scotland?
Hywind Scotland was the first commercial floating offshore wind farm, built off Peterhead with five turbines and 30 MW of capacity. Developer Equinor says it and partner Masdar invested NOK 2 billion to realise the pilot park, which started producing electricity in October 2017. That investment is for the Scottish pilot development, not Equinor's earlier single-turbine Hywind Demo in Norway.
