The Bahrain International Airport expansion is the new passenger terminal of Bahrain Airport Company, built from April 2016 to 2020 with a passenger handling capacity of 14 million a year. Airport Technology wrote on 1 July 2022 about the airport's new 1.1 billion dollar terminal.
