How much did Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant cost to build?

The Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant in Abu Dhabi's Al Dhafra region has four APR1400 reactors with a combined generating capacity of up to 5,600 MW. Construction of the first unit began in 2012. Unit 1 started commercial operation in April 2021, and Unit 4 entered commercial operation in September 2024, bringing the entire station into service. Published figures describe different things: a contractor's prime contract, the project's financing package, and a wider reported project cost; they should not be treated as interchangeable final construction costs.
