Stadium 路 Canada

How much did BC Place cost to build?

BC Place opened on Vancouver's False Creek on 19 June 1983 with an air-supported roof. The Province of British Columbia reported the original stadium finished on time and on budget for about C$126 million. A separate two-stage revitalization later replaced the roof and upgraded the venue; operator PavCo reported a final C$514 million cost against a C$563 million approved budget. The later renovation is not part of the 1983 construction figure.
