How much did Beşiktaş Stadium cost to build?
Beşiktaş Stadium, currently branded Tüpraş Stadyumu, replaced BJK İnönü Stadium beside the Bosphorus in Istanbul. The club formally inaugurated the new ground on 10 April 2016 and played its first match there against Bursaspor the following day. A club filing to Turkey's Public Disclosure Platform reports TRY 407,047,190 as the stadium's total construction cost in a December 2017 special-purpose independent audit, excluding capitalised financing costs; TRY 149,175,836 of that total remained on the club's own books. The often repeated approximate €110 million opening-era figure is a separate contemporary report, not that audited total. Turkey's football federation lists 42,684 seats for the operating stadium. The existing licensed photograph shows the stadium in 2023.
