Stadium 路 United States

How much did BMO Stadium cost to build?

BMO Stadium is the 22,000-seat soccer venue in Los Angeles's Exposition Park, built by Los Angeles FC on the former Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena site. The project was initially presented in 2015 as a roughly US$250 million privately funded stadium-and-ancillary development; by its 2018 opening LAFC described the completed venue as a US$350 million stadium investment. These dated figures are successive project claims, not costs to add together, and the original figure covered a broader planned complex. Groundbreaking took place on 23 August 2016, a ribbon-cutting on 18 April 2018, and the first LAFC home match on 29 April 2018. Originally Banc of California Stadium, the venue became BMO Stadium in 2023. A separate bank naming-rights agreement was revenue to the club, not stadium construction cost.
